Add each testimonial with a name and website, then show them: * in the « Auto Scrolling Testimonials » widget, which scrolls upwards automatically; * anywhere with the `[astlist]` shortcode, as a list or as a scrolling ticker. Accessible by design: scrolling pauses on hover and keyboard focus, there is a pause button, and nothing moves for visitors who have turned on « reduce motion » on their device. No jQuery needed. #### Shortcode ``` [astlist nop="5" order="rand"] shows a list of testimonials. [astlist nop="6" scroll="yes" visible="3" title="What our clients say"] shows a scrolling ticker. ``` * `nop` – number of testimonials, 1 to 50. Default: 5. * `order` – `DESC` (newest first), `ASC` (oldest first) or `rand`. Default: `DESC`. * `scroll` – `yes` for the scrolling ticker. Default: `no`. * `visible` – testimonials visible at once in the ticker. Default: 3. * `length` – maximum characters per testimonial in the ticker. Default: 150. * `title` – heading above the ticker. ## Installation 1. In your WordPress admin go to Plugins > Add New, search for « Auto Scrolling Testimonials», then install and activate it. 2. Go to AST Testimonials > Add New and add a few testimonials. 3. Add the `[astlist]` shortcode to a page, or add the widget under Appearance > Widgets. ## FAQ ### Will my testimonials, widgets and shortcodes survive the update to 2.0.0? Yes.
