Simple Checkout for Italy Lite is the free solution to adapt your WooCommerce checkout to the regulations and habits of the Italian market.
With this plugin, you can:
* Add Mandatory Tax Fields: Allow customers to choose whether they are purchasing as an « Individual » or a « Company ». The plugin will dynamically display the correct fields: « Codice Fiscale » (Tax Code) for individuals, and « Partita IVA » (VAT Number), « Codice Destinatario (SDI) », and « PEC » (Certified Email) for companies.
* Increase Trust: Display customizable trust badges in the cart and at checkout to reassure your customers about payment security.
* Optimize Conversions: Activate the « Skip Cart » feature to redirect users directly to the payment page after adding a product, reducing cart abandonment.
This plugin is the « Lite » version of the more powerful Simple Checkout for Italy PRO and gives you a taste of its potential to improve conversions.

Installation
- Upload the
checkout-italia-semplice-litefolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
- Go to
WooCommerce > Checkout Italia Liteto configure the settings.

The fields for Individual/Company are not appearing. Why?

Make sure your theme uses the standard WooCommerce hooks (
woocommerce_before_checkout_billing_form). If you have a block theme, try using the troubleshooter tool on the plugin’s settings page to create a standard checkout page. -
Can I customize the trust badges?

Of course. From the settings page, you can choose which badges to display (PayPal, Stripe, Credit Cards, etc.) and customize the section title.
