## Description

FMH Exporter is a lightweight, secure, and easy-to-use tool that allows WordPress
administrators to download a ZIP backup of any installed extension directly from
the Plugins page.

Whether you want to migrate a specific extension to another site, keep local backups
before updating, or simply inspect code files, this tool adds a convenient « Export
ZIP » link to every item in your list.

**Features:**
 * One-click ZIP downloads for any installed extension. * Handles 
both single-file extensions and complex multi-folder extensions. * Secure: Uses 
WordPress nonces and capability checks. * Prevents path-traversal attacks (users
can only export registered items). * Memory efficient: Generates ZIP files on the
fly using your server’s temporary directory.

## Installation

 1. Upload the `fmh-exporter` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install
    the extension through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
 2. Activate the extension through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
 3. Go to the ‘Plugins’ -> ‘Installed Plugins’ page.
 4. Click the new « Export ZIP » link next to any item to download it.

## FAQ

### Does this work for single-file extensions?

Yes, the tool automatically detects if an item is a single PHP file or a folder 
and zips it accordingly.

### Does it require any special server setup?

It requires the `ZipArchive` PHP extension to be enabled on your server. Most standard
web hosts have this enabled by default.
