Monitor and analyze your website’s performance metrics in real-time with SpeedVitals RUM. Features: * Easy integration with SpeedVitals RUM * Configurable script placement (header/footer) * Flexible script loading options (defer/async) * Simple setup with minimal configuration ### Configuration 1. Site ID (Required) 2. * Enter your SpeedVitals RUM Site ID * This is required for the plugin to function 3. Script Position (Optional) 4. * Header (default): Places the script in the section * Footer: Places the script at the end of the section 5. Script Loading (Optional) 6. * Defer (default): Loads the script after HTML parsing * Async: Loads the script asynchronously with HTML parsing * None: Loads the script normally without any loading attribute ### Usage Once configured with a valid Site ID, the plugin will automatically insert the SpeedVitals RUM tracking script into your website. The script will collect performance metrics and send them to your SpeedVitals dashboard. ### External Services This plugin sends data to the SpeedVitals API to monitor website performance metrics via Real User Monitoring (RUM). The library we are using to send the data is based built upon the Google Chrome’s Web Vitals Library (https://github.com/GoogleChrome/ web-vitals). * Data Sent: Performance metrics like page load time, resource timings, user-agent info, and other web vitals are sent to SpeedVitals servers. * When: Data is sent automatically whenever users visit any page of your website * Data storage: Data is stored in the EU servers for GDPR Compliance * Service Provider: SpeedVitals (SpeedVitals Private Limited) * Terms of Service: https://app.speedvitals.com/terms-of-use * Privacy Policy: https://speedvitals.com/privacy-policy ### Support For support and documentation, please visit https://speedvitals.com/contact-us ### License This plugin is licensed under the GPL v2 or later. Navigate to Plugins > Add New 3. Search for ‘SpeedVitals RUM’, install and activate 4. Click « Install Now » 5. After installation, click « Activate Plugin » 6. Go to Settings > SpeedVitals RUM to configure the plugin 7. The dashboard is very user-friendly, you can monitor performance and visits on all your sites from a single panel. It’s much better than the one from Cloudflare. The external script running on your site is ultra-optimized. I tested all the RUMs I know of, and I never saw a near-zero impact like this. Hats off!
