WordPress sends plain, unbranded emails by default.

Email Builder lets you redesign these emails visually, with a drag-and-drop editor, ready-made elements, and a live preview, without writing any code.

Everything in this plugin is fully functional. There are no locked elements, trial periods, usage limits, or license keys.

External Services

This plugin does not phone home, collect telemetry, or check license keys. The only outbound connections are:

WordPress.org Plugin API (api.wordpress.org, downloads.wordpress.org)
Used only when an administrator clicks an install button on the « Recommended Plugins » page or the « Install YaySMTP » button in the Send Test Email dialog. It fetches plugin information and the plugin package from WordPress.org, exactly like the core Plugins > Add New screen. Nothing is sent except the standard request WordPress itself makes.

The compiled files under assets/dist/yaymail/ (yaymail-main.tsx-*.js, vendor_antd_*.js, yaymail-main-*.css) are built from the React/TypeScript application in apps/customizer/src with Vite. To rebuild them:

1. cd apps/customizer
2. pnpm install
3. pnpm build (runs tsc && vite build; output is written to assets/dist/yaymail/)
4. cd ../.. then node rewrite-text-domain.js assets (the editor source is shared with the YayMail plugin and uses the yaymail text domain; this rewrites the compiled bundle to this plugin’s slug, exactly as the release script zip.sh does)

Third-party libraries compiled into that bundle (all under MIT-compatible licenses, declared in package.json / apps/customizer/package.json): React, React DOM, React Router, Ant Design (antd, @ant-design/icons), @wordpress/i18n, Zustand, Immer, react-query, Axios, Day.js, Moment.js, SortableJS / react-sortablejs, Ace editor (ace-builds, react-ace), react-custom-scrollbars-2, react-error-boundary, JSZip, lodash.get, copy-to-clipboard, uuid.

The PHP code under vendor-prefixed/ is the YayCommerce admin-shell library (shared admin menu and pages). It is plain, unminified PHP that has only had its namespaces prefixed with PHP-Scoper (scoper.inc.php) to avoid conflicts with other plugins; the same files are in the repository above.
